"They offer the opportunity to test your skills, grow, and above all communicate effectively during a major crisis."
Cyber Fortress is Luxembourg’s flagship national cyber defense exercise, organized by the Luxembourg Armed Forces in close cooperation with the Directorate of Defence and key national partners. Since its launch in 2021, the exercise has continuously evolved—from initially focusing on technical challenges to delivering realistic, scenario-driven simulations that now also integrate strategic communication, media injects, and comprehensive crisis management.
Each year, Cyber Fortress brings together cybersecurity experts from Luxembourg and numerous partner nations. With more than 200 participants on site and additional participants connected remotely, the exercise provides a unique platform for international cooperation and interoperability across military, governmental, and strategic domains. By simulating real-time cyberattacks against critical systems, Cyber Fortress enables the exchange of expertise, enhances incident response capabilities, and strengthens collective cyber resilience.

"The Cyber Fortress exercise truly underscored the immense complexity of managing a cyber crisis, even within a simulated environment. Witnessing professionals from various sectors across Luxembourg collaborate seamlessly with their European counterparts was not only inspiring but also a powerful demonstration of what unified efforts can achieve."
